SNK Playmore Corporation, today announced Fatal Fury: Battle Archives Vol. 2 for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system is shipping to retailers across North America.

Fatal Fury: Battle Archives Vol. 2 is a collection of 3 games (on one disc) from one of SNK’s most popular fighting game series, Fatal Fury. Battle Archives Vol. 2 comes loaded with: Real Bout Fatal Fury, Real Bout Fatal Fury Special and Real Bout Fatal Fury 2; The Newcomers, completing the 7 game series. These installments are well known for their hand-drawn animation, stylish character designs and their original “2 Line System” where players can strategize and plan out their plan of action from separate foreground and background planes.

Garou Densetsu: Battle Archives Vol 1 (2006)

Compilation containing the original Fatal Fury, Fatal Fury 2, Fatal Fury Special and Fatal Fury 3. Contains a language option for each game between Japanese and English. The game was released in the United States as of August 2007.

Garou Densetsu: Battle Archives Vol 2 (2007)

Compilation containing Real Bout Fatal Fury, Real Bout Fatal Fury Special and Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers. Also contains a language option for each game between Japanese, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. The game was currently only available in Japan, but has been released in the United States in 2008 as noted above.
